Dr. Stevenson is a postdoctoral fellow in the departments of pharmacology and neuroscience investigating the efficacy of senolytic therapies as treatments for post-traumatic epilepsy. His PhD thesis involved developing novel small molecule tyrosine kinase inhibitors as treatments for reducing pathology in Alzheimer’s Disease. His is the recipient of a TL1 translational research grant from the Georgetown-Howard Universities Center for Clinical and Translational Science to receive training in leading translational collaborative research teams towards discovering novel treatments for neurodegenerative diseases.
