My name is Logan, and I am an MD/PhD student at Georgetown University School of Medicine. I completed my Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at Texas A&M University in 2023 and finished my preclinical medical coursework in early 2026. During my undergraduate training, I worked as a research assistant in a circadian neuroscience lab, where I studied how circadian clock genes influence neural circuits and behavior in rodent models. I am particularly interested in the therapeutic potential of targeting basal ganglia circuits for the treatment of neurological disorders, including epilepsy and motor diseases such as Parkinson’s disease. My current clinical interests include neurology and anesthesiology, both of which align with my focus on circuit function/modulation in therapeutic contexts. Outside of my academic work, I enjoy spending time with my wife, as well as coding, biking, and baking.
