Dr. Ostroumov’s research focuses on the causal mechanisms by which modifications in synaptic plasticity contribute to neural circuit remodeling and aberrant behaviors associated with neuropsychiatric disorders. His lab combines slice and in-vivo neurophysiology with viral-genetic and behavioral approaches.
