Ken Kellar

Dr. Kellar’s research focuses on the subunit composition, pharmacological properties and regulation of neuronal nicotinic receptors. Of particular interest to his laboratory is  understanding the importance of desensitization of these receptors and the mechanisms by which chronic exposure to nicotine increases these receptors in brain.
